Did you guys know that I love Friends? |
Well, this is embarrassing. No, I don't mean my love of Friends. This post is about a trip that happened over two months ago. Taking frequent trips is not conducive to catching up on blogging about past trips. I will keep this short and sweet since I have a lot to catch up on.
Our trip started out a bit hellish thanks to an hour plus wait to get through passport control and the ever long journey in to London from the airport (I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter which airport... they are all far). By midnight, we had checked in to our hotel and set out to meet up with my oldest friend, Sean. Mild shenanigans ensued... nothing we couldn't tell our parents.

Ryan got a gold tooth recently, in case you didn't know. |
We lucked out with the best London weather you can probably get in early March. We of course took a free walking tour on Saturday and then caught
Mamma Mia! in the evening followed by some more pub time. By the way,
Mamma Mia! was one of the most amazingly fun shows I've ever seen, so if you haven't seen it I would highly recommend going! We also managed to hit up several favorite American chains (Five Guys, Shake Shack, Pita Pit...) which satisfied some of our cravings until our next trip home to the US. Another quick weekend getaway in the books!
